අද රට ම ඇත්තෙ මහා අවුලක. එයට ප්‍රධාන ම හේතු ව සිංහලයන්. එහෙම කියන එක ප්‍රශ්නයක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්. නමුත් සිංහලයන්ගෙ කොන්ද බිඳලා තියෙන්නෙ. ඒ ඉංගිරිසින් විසින්. ඔවුන්ගෙ අධ්‍යාපනයෙන්. ජාතික ව්‍යාපාරයෙන් ඈත් කරනු ලැබ සිටි මා පසුගිය දින කිහිපයක සිට නැවතත් එහි ක්‍රියා කරන්න පටන් ගත්තා. ඒ බෙංගමුවෙ නාලක අනුනායක හිමියන්ගෙ ආරාධනයෙන්. උන්වහන්සේ තමන් වහන්සේගෙ නිකාය පාර්ශ්වයෙහි අනුනායක හිමි නමක් බවත් මා දැන ගත්තෙ පසුගිය දා.

Verification of “axioms”

Guessing of “axioms” belong to rationalism and not empiricism in Western Philosophy. The “axioms” are abstract statements, and one can go on deriving results as in Mathematics using rules of inference, as Greeks used to do with Euclidean Geometry. However, Science is not Mathematics, and one is interested in finding out whether the “axioms” have any sense with respect to observations.
